FORT ZUMWALT SCHOOL DISTRICT
COLLEGE CREDIT PROGRAMS


There are currently six different types of dual enrollment/articualation programs whereby high school students can earn college credit by taking advanced high school courses and dually enrolling in the college's reciprocal course. Under the guidelines from the Coordinating Board of Higher Education (CBHE), the following requirements must be met:

  1. These programs are available only to Juniors and Seniors.
  2. A Student must have a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0.
  3. A maximum of 5 courses, regardless of the amount of credit, may be transferred to an institution of higher education courses within the University of Missouri system. St. Louis University will grant no more than 30 hours credit and/or 10 courses toward graduation to any student in the 1818 ACC program.
A student should not enroll in more than three classes that are offered for dual credit. No grade lower than a C is accepted for college credit.

Actual courses available for college credit change annually based upon approval of courses by the college.

Parents and students are advised that a college my not accept college credit earned through any of these programs. It is the student's/parent's responsibility to check with the college that they ar planning on attending to see if the college will accept college credit obtained through these advanced credit programs.

  1. MISSOURI BAPTIST COLLEGE - "EXCEL"

  2. ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY - 1818 Advanced College Credit
    (Maximum Two courses per semester; 3 with principal's written approval)

  3. UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS - Advanced Credit Program

  4. LINDENWOOD COLLEGE
    (Additional courses may be available at Fall registration)
  5. ST. CHARLES COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

    An articulation agreement has been established between the disrict and the community college. Under specific conditions, college credit may be granted for high school Business/Vocational courses, Family and Consumer Sciences courses and/or Industrial Technology Education courses.

  6. RANKIN TECHICAL COLLEGE

    An articulation agreement has been established between the disrict and Rankin Tech. Under specific conditions, college credit may be granted for specific advanced courses taken in high school.

  7. ST. LOUIS COMMUNITY COLLEGE - FLORISSANT VALLEY

    An articulation agreement has been established between the district and the community college. Under specific conditions, college credit may be granted for high school Family & Consumer Science courses.
