Students attending a designated A+ School may be eligible for state-funded assistance to pay for two years of tuition and common fees at any Missouri public community college or public vocational-technical school. To receive A+ benefits at a community college or state-supported vocational/technical school, a student must be enrolled full time in a degree or certificate seeking program.
If state funds are available and Fort Zumwalt West High continues designation as an A+ school prior to my graduation, I may receive reimbursement for college expenses determined by the Missouri General Assembly while attending a Missouri public community college or public vocational/technical school on a full-time basis. This reimbursement may be for the unpaid balance of the cost of tuition, general fees and up to fifty percent (50%) of the book cost subject to legislative appropriation. (Currently, the cost of books is not covered.) If a student is eligible for a PELL grant from the federal government, A+ will pay the balance of the cost of tuition and general fees after the PELL grant has been applied. This financial assistance is on the condition that I meet the following requirements:
