Hope High School

Ms. Beth Niedergerke
Principal

The mission of Fort Zumwalt Hope High School is
to create and maintain a safe, positive and caring environment for all students
that promotes social, personal, and academic success. Our commitment is to inspire
students to reach their ultimate potential within the school, the community
and their own lives.
Fort Zumwalt Hope High School is designed to assist high school students who have not been successful in larger, comprehensive high schools to earn the credits needed to graduate. The small overall size of the school and classrooms allows for a more personal education. An integrative approach to curriculum and an emphasis on nontraditional classroom instruction provides a unique foundation on which students can build successful academic and personal experiences. Students are also provided with drug/alcohol education and pro social skills training.
Students wishing to attend Hope High School must
be enrolled in one of the district's three high schools and must apply. Applications
are available at all high schools of the Fort Zumwalt School District, or through
the Hope High School Guidance Counselor. Applications should be returned to
the guidance counselor in the building the student currently attends. Once application
is made, students must be interviewed.
